Ngoola, a descendant of the Miangla people, from the Fitzroy River
country in the Kimberley . This is a mellow sounding didge that rewards
the player with a beautiful deep airy tone. Not one for beginners,
as the large bore of this didge means backpressure is not great, but
OK for any reasonably experienced player. Plays in the key of B, hoot
key F#, outside diameter of bell 14cm, beeswax mouthpiece applied. |
